About the Learnership Programme

The Engineering Learnership provides candidates who have completed N2/N3 with related trade theory an opportunity to receive technical and work specific skills in the engineering trade fields they have chosen.

The programme is composed of theory and practical component. Upon successful completion they will qualify as Artisan with a trade certificate.

Learnership Trades Available

Engineering Learnership Programs available for the following disciplines:

  • Boilermaking
  • Fitting
  • Electrical

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • The incumbent will enter an engineering Learnership programme with the MQA SETA.
  • Undergo an institutional training at one of the selected providers.
  • Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the company.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Grade 12
  • N2 with relevant trade theory for Mechanical
  • N3 with relevant trade theory for Electrical
  • Alternatively, candidates with a Technical Matric with relevant trade theory or Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science may also be considered.
