Careers at New Clydesdale Colliery

New Clydesdale Colliery is located in Delmas town, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. It consists of the Roodekop and Diepspruit West opencast sections and the Diepspruit underground section. It is situated near the state-owned utility Eskom’s Kriel Power Station which it supplies with coal.

New Clydesdale Colliery continues to invest in the recruitment and development of graduates with a view of establishing a talent pipeline of young people who will become future leaders and fill scarce skill roles within the organisations and for our country.

The colliery is offering 24 months internship opportunities for unemployed graduates with a keen interest of the following fields:

  • Environmental-NCC/ENV/24
  • Metallurgy-NCC/MET/24

Requirements

To be considered for participation in the programme, the applicant must:

  • Must be unemployed.
  • Have never participated or taken part in any internship programme before.
  • Ensure high standards of safety and quality are adhered to

  • CV, Certified copy of ID document and proof of highest qualifications.
  • Proof of residence.
  • Must be medically fit
