About the PIC Graduate Development Programme
The PIC Graduate Development Programme 2024 presents you with the perfect opportunity to:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge, skills, and real-world exposure in asset and investment management;
- Focus on the pivotal role the PIC plays in the economy; and
- Transform the asset management sector.
This structured programme aims to cultivate a pipeline of capable investment professionals, ultimately transforming the landscape of the asset management sector.
Qualifying Criteria
- South African Citizens not older than 25 years.
- 60% pass in each module and an overall average of the most recent results.
- Have no work experience in the field of study and have not participated in any graduate/leadership programme.
- A strong desire to work in financial services.
- Proven academic excellence.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting/Auditing.
- Advantageous knowledge in Taxation, Cost Accounting, Valuations and Financial Modelling.
Research and Projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ Econometrics
Information Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology.
- Certification in CompTIA Security would be advantageous
Platform Reliability Engineering
- Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
- Certification in ITIL, MCITP, Microsoft Office 365/ M365, and Microsoft Certification would be advantageous.
Software Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- Software Development (Programming, object-oriented design, software testing and debugging).

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related fields.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
