The Eastern Cape Department of Human Settlements is recruiting for the below-mentioned vacancies.

The Department calls on individuals across the province for a five (5) year fixed contract with a stipend of R20 000.00 per month, who possess the relevant qualifications or five (5) years of experience in Human Settlements community engagement.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or recognized five years’ experience in Human Settlements Community Engagement
- Understanding of language used by the community wherein the individual will be working is an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas
- Verification of Incorrect Occupations
- Verification of disaster-stricken victims
- Identification and verification of destitute persons
- Housing Consumer Education Support
- Social Facilitation Support
- Establishment of the Housing Needs Register
- Any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Director which may include resolution of petitions and following up on challenges in hotspot areas.
